Read them a fresh prospect email out loud. Give them 5 min on a laptop to type the reply. Watch their pace, structure, and CTA discipline.
"Tell me about a time you followed up with someone 5+ times to get what you wanted." Look for: comfort with persistence, no apology language, no "giving up".
"Walk me through how you'd track 200 active conversations at once." If they describe a system → strong. If they describe "I'll just remember" → weak.
"A qualified lead went cold and you forgot to follow up. They sign with a competitor 2 weeks later. What do you do next?" Look for ownership, not blame.
"Tell me your living situation in Hyderabad and your morning commute to Madhapur." Filter remote-only mindsets out here.
